Japanese clothing company, founded in 1949 in Ube, Yamaguchi, as a menswear shop; the Uniqlo brand launched in 1984 in Hiroshima. The LifeWear catalogue is the core range; +J and U are collaborations with Jil Sander and Christophe Lemaire.
